The New England Patriots have designated defensive tackle Daniel Ekuale for injured reserve.

On Tuesday, the New England Patriots made the decision to move defensive tackle Daniel Ekuale to the injured reserve list. This move comes after the 29-year-old player suffered an elbow injury during the first half of last week’s 15-10 victory against the Jets and was unable to rejoin the game.

So far this season, Ekuale has participated in all three of New England’s games, contributing three tackles and forcing a fumble in the process. Over the past three seasons, he has appeared in a total of 25 games with the Patriots, primarily serving as a substitute in specific defensive packages.

Looking ahead, the New England team is set to face the Dallas Cowboys this coming Sunday.
